Amber Meadow is the third edition of The Macallan Harmony Collection, created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney and bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle. The project joins fashion, photography and whisky.
Inspired by Scottish grassland, it recalls warm meadows and barley fields. It combines whisky from sherry-seasoned oak and bourbon casks, and reflects the respect for the natural world shared by the McCartneys and The Macallan.
The nose is orange and lemon with honeysuckle, vanilla, coconut and ripe barley. The palate brings oak, lemon, melon, scone, almond and green tea, and the finish is sweet, long and complex.
