Intense Arabica is a Speyside single malt from Macallan, released in October 2022 as the second release in The Harmony Collection. It is bottled at 44% ABV in a 70cl bottle and carries no age statement.
The whisky was matured in American and European oak sherry casks. The collection celebrates the flavours of Ethiopian Arabica coffee beans, and whisky maker Steven Bremner worked with coffee experts on it. The box reflects that theme: it is recyclable and biodegradable, and is made using by-products of coffee making, including coffee bean husks.
