Macallan X Sir Peter Blake, An Estate, A Community and A Distillery, is the third collaboration between Macallan and the British artist Sir Peter Blake. It marks his visit to the estate and is bottled at 47.7%, in a 70cl bottle.
Sir Peter designed the label digitally. It shows characters from the distillery's history in a pop art collage.
The nose has red and dark dried fruits, allspice, candied orange, dark chocolate, strawberry and clove. The palate is smooth and rich, with dates, raisins, black pepper, treacle, cocoa nibs, vanilla and honey, closing with sweet baking spices and candied citrus peel.
