This is a 31 year old single grain Scotch whisky distilled at Cambus, a Lowland distillery that has long since closed. It is the first ghost of the Macbeth collection, inspired by the Scottish play, with an illustration by Sir Quentin Blake. The casks were chosen by Elixir Distillers, and only 2100 bottles were released at 46.2% in a 70cl bottle.
More than three decades in oak have given it a profile of green fruits, vanilla custard and coconut milk, with a touch of sweet aniseed.
