Macchu Pisco (75cl)

Macchu Pisco is a Peruvian pisco made from the assertive Quebranta grape, with around ten pounds of grapes going into each bottle. It is distilled in copper pot stills, a labour-intensive method. It makes a good base for a Pisco Sour, and is smooth and subtly flavoured over ice. The nose is very light, with vanilla, lime peel and white pepper. On the palate come white pepper, vanilla sugar, lime, yuzu and cinnamon, with a little earthiness and a peppery bite at the end. The finish is quick and leaves you ready for another sip.
