MacNair's Lum Reek 10 Year Old is a peated blended malt Scotch whisky from Billy Walker, bottled at a natural cask strength of 55.4% in a 70cl bottle. Vintage Speyside and Islay single malts are married with mature GlenAllachie malt.
The whisky was rested in Spanish sherry casks, wine barriques and virgin oak. It has no added colour and is non-chill-filtered. The name comes from the Scots toast "lang may yer lum reek", meaning long may your chimney smoke.
The nose is described as smoke, heather honey and ginger with cinnamon, treacle and vanilla. The palate brings dark chocolate, ginger and citrus with smoked spices, and the finish is long and intense, ending with a wisp of smoke.
