MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Year Old is a blended malt Scotch whisky from Billy Walker, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. This is the 2021 rebrand, from the relaunched MacNair's range.
It marries peated Islay malts with Speyside whiskies, then receives further maturation in bourbon barrels, Oloroso sherry casks and virgin oak casks. Lum Reek is an old Scottish phrase for chimney smoke.
It is described as combining orchard fruit, vanilla, spice and toffee with peat smoke and a touch of maritime character.
