MacNair's Lum Reek 12 Year Old is a peated blended malt in a 70cl bottle, combining single malts from Islay and Speyside. The recipe comes from Billy Walker and uses both peated and unpeated whiskies, including aged GlenAllachie single malt.
This small batch expression was matured at the GlenAllachie distillery in first fill Bourbon, Pedro Ximénez and red wine casks. It is bottled without added colouring or chill-filtration.
It is described as having sweet peat reek, warming mocha, Scottish heather and butterscotch.
