MacNair's Lum Reek 21 Year Old is a peated blended malt Scotch whisky, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a tube. It brings together peated and unpeated single malts from Islay and Speyside, including aged GlenAllachie.
The whisky was matured at The GlenAllachie Distillery in Oloroso sherry, red wine and virgin oak casks. It is bottled without added colour or chill-filtration.
The nose offers subtle peat smoke, dark chocolate shavings, runny honey and vanilla fudge. On the palate come old leather and cedar alongside cocoa, vanilla pods and sweet spice, with gentle peat underneath.
