MacNair's Lum Reek Peated 12 Years Old is a peated blended malt bottled at 46% ABV. It combines whiskies from first-fill bourbon, red wine and Pedro Ximenez casks, blended with an emphasis on wood management.
The colour is copper bronze. The nose pairs sweet peat smoke with butterscotch and mocha. The palate is rich, with peat smoke, mature heather, bog myrtle, butterscotch, toffee and sweet spices.
