MacPhail's 15 Year Old is a single malt from Speyside, matured in sherry casks and bottled at 40% by Gordon & MacPhail in a 70cl bottle. It is chill-filtered and has added colour.
The nose brings sweet sherry, stewed fruit and gentle ginger, with fresh citrus, black cherry, poached pear and waxy oak. On the palate it is smooth, with baked apple, fine spices, dark chocolate and creamy toffee, and peach and melon alongside. The finish is soft and of medium length, with toasted oak.
