Macray 12 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 40% in a 750ml bottle. It combines malt and grain whiskies from Scottish distilleries.
The blend is matured for at least 12 years in selected oak casks.
Honey and vanilla come first on the nose, followed by dried fruit and toasted oak. The palate opens with soft malt sweetness and a thread of caramel, then light spice and oak tannins. The finish is medium in length, with warm oak, dried fruit and a mild spice note beside a clean, malty sweetness.
