Maen 12 Year Old is a Japanese blended malt whisky, made only from malt whiskies distilled in double copper pot stills. It is aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon barrels and bottled at 43% ABV in a 700ml bottle.
The name Maen means 'the perfect circle'. The brand follows Zen principles, in which a closed circle stands for perfection, and the whisky is produced in limited quantities.
The flavour is gentle vanilla and malt sweetness with soft oak, leading to a refined, harmonious finish.
