A Guatemalan rum made from sugar cane, aged for at least fifteen years using the Solera method in oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry.
The nose shows dark chocolate, vanilla, cooked fruit, sweet spice and light smoke. On the palate it is velvety and complex, with caramel, nutmeg and dried fruit, leading to a long, persistent finish.
It is best enjoyed neat.
