Maker's 46 Cask Strength Kentucky Bourbon (75cl)

Maker's 46 Cask Strength is a Kentucky Bourbon from Maker's Mark, in a 75cl bottle. Maker's 46 was the first bourbon in the distillery's wood-finishing series, created by Bill Samuels, Jr. to bring out flavours he likes in Maker's Mark. The process starts with fully matured Maker's Mark at cask strength. Ten seared virgin French oak staves are placed inside the barrel, and the bourbon is finished for nine weeks in a limestone cellar. The result is described as bolder and more complex, without the bitterness typical of longer-aged whiskies.
