Maker's Mark 250th Anniversary is a 2026 limited edition marking America's 250th birthday (1776 to 2026). It is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is the first time the brand has changed its hand-dipped red wax: white is overlaid on the red, and the seal is stamped in blue. Inside is the usual wheated Maker's Mark, made from corn, red winter wheat and malted barley in Loretto since 1953. A portion of proceeds goes to the Farmer Veteran Coalition.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla custard, honey wheat bread and subtle oak. The palate has brown sugar, vanilla bean, warm cinnamon and toasted grain, and the finish is medium, with vanilla, baking spice and wheat.
