Maker's Mark 46 is a bourbon from the Maker's Mark distillery in Kentucky. It is aged a bit longer inside barrels containing seared French oak staves, an addition to the barrel that defines this expression. According to the maker, the staves bring bolder and more complex flavours and avoid the bitterness that usually comes with whiskies aged for longer.
