Maker's Mark – 7 Year Old Cask Strength Bourbon Batch 26-01

Maker's Mark 7 Year Old Cask Strength Batch 26-01 is a Kentucky bourbon bottled straight from the barrel without dilution. It is the first Maker's Mark Cask Strength to carry an age statement on the label, which reads seven years. The mash bill is 70% corn, 16% red winter wheat and 14% malted barley. Each batch is drawn from nineteen to twenty-four barrels, and this one is non-chill filtered and of natural colour. The tasting notes mention amplified dark cherry, toasted oak, salted caramel and warm vanilla, followed by a finish of dark chocolate and soft spices.
