Maker's Mark is a Kentucky bourbon made in Loretto, here in a 200ml bottle at 45% ABV.
It is a wheated bourbon: red winter wheat is used in place of rye, and the bottle is sealed with a hand-dipped red wax closure.
The flavour is mellow and sweet, with vanilla, caramel, gentle spice and a hint of oak.
