Strength at this bottling runs from 108 to 114 proof depending on the barrels. It keeps the front-of-the-palate character of Maker's Mark, with more vanilla and rich oak. The nose is big oak, vanilla and caramel. The palate is robust and warm, with caramel, vanilla and spice. The finish is long, felt at the front of the tongue, with no harsh bitterness.
