Maker's Mark Cask Strength Made For The Brave is a limited-edition Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at cask strength without dilution and sold in a 750ml bottle. It is a wheated bourbon, made with red winter wheat in place of rye in the mash bill, and the release comes in patriotic commemorative packaging.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla bean, toasted oak and baking spice. On the palate there are dark caramel, honey, cinnamon, oak char and dried fruit, followed by a long, warm finish that leans towards spice.
