Maker's Mark – Cellar Aged Bourbon Whiskey 2024 (75cl, 59.7%)

Maker's Mark Cellar Aged 2024 is a cask strength Kentucky straight wheated bourbon at 59.7%, in a 75cl bottle. It is the second annual Cellar Aged release, a blend of 15% 12-year-old and 85% 13-year-old bourbon, the most mature Maker's Mark bottled at the time. After ageing in traditional warehouses, the barrels were finished in the distillery's limestone cellar at Star Hill Farm in Loretto, where cooler, steadier temperatures slow the extraction of tannin. The mash bill is 70% corn, 16% soft red winter wheat and 14% malted barley. The nose is caramelised sugar, zesty citrus and toasted almond. The palate is buttery shortbread, rich coconut and bright spices, and the finish lingers with dried dark fruit and subtle oak.
