This is a Maker's Mark bourbon chosen by the Los Angeles Dodgers organisation to mark their 2025 World Series win. It is bottled at 111.1 proof (55.55% ABV) and sealed with Dodger Blue wax in place of the usual red.
It comes from the Private Selection programme, in which cask-strength Maker's Mark is finished in a single barrel with ten wooden staves. The Dodgers' mix is three Baked American Pure 2, five Seared French Cuvée, one Maker's Mark 46 and one Toasted French Spice stave.
The nose has honey, orchard fruit, vanilla bean and toasted almonds. The palate is creamy and viscous, with toasted caramel, baking spices and dried fruit. The finish is long and warming, with clove, ripe fruit and a hint of pipe tobacco.
