Maker's Mark – No. 46 Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 47%)

Maker's Mark No. 46 is a wheated bourbon from the Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, bottled at 47% in a 75cl bottle. Launched in 2010, it was the first new Maker's Mark expression in around fifty years, created by Bill Samuels Jr. Fully matured Maker's Mark is finished with ten seared French oak staves for about nine weeks in the distillery's limestone cellar. The mash bill is 70% corn, 16% soft red winter wheat and 14% malted barley, with no rye. It is non-chill filtered. The palate is amplified vanilla and caramel over the soft wheated base, with toasted oak and baking spice. The finish is longer and drier than the original.
