This is a Maker's Mark Private Selection, a Kentucky straight bourbon released to mark the 50th anniversary of Kirsch Import. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 55.4% ABV.
What sets it apart is the cask work. Ten hand-selected oak staves were added to the barrel to give the aroma more complexity, using Baked American Pure and Seared French Cuvée staves. The bourbon is bottled in its natural colour and without chill-filtration.
