Maker's Mark – Private Selection "Altadena Strong" Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky (75cl, 55.2%)

Altadena Strong is a Maker's Mark Private Selection, a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 110.3 proof, or 55.2% ABV. The name nods to the distillery's own backyard and the resilience seen there over the past year. Proceeds benefit the Pasadena Educational Foundation's Eaton Fire Fund. It is built around a combination of ten staves, which are placed in a single barrel of mature bourbon for several months. The Roasted French staves add depth and balance, bringing forward fruit and baking spices that mellow the finish. Creamy vanilla, toasted oak and baking spices are lifted by cocoa, coffee bean, dark chocolate and maple syrup.
