Maker's Mark Private Selection: Los Angeles Lakers – 2020 Champions Edition is a cask strength wheated bourbon from Loretto, Kentucky, bottled at 54.65% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It marks the Lakers' 17th NBA title, won in the 2020 Finals against Miami.
Maker's Mark developed the recipe in January 2021 with Lakers staff, Season Ticket Members and seven-time NBA champion Robert Horry, and bottled it in February 2021. Fully matured Maker's Mark was finished for nine more weeks in the distillery's limestone cellar with 10 custom wood staves.
The palate is rich chocolate and dried fruit, followed by a finish of warming spice over the soft, wheated core.
