Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2025 Keeper's Release is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Loretto, bottled at 56.3% ABV and non-chill filtered. It was created to honour the legacy of the brand's founders and crafted by their grandson.
The bourbon was aged in charred oak barrels and then finished with 10 virgin oak staves, which add bold oak with toasted sweetness. A red wax seal marks the bottle.
Tasting notes list caramel, charred wood, vanilla bean and baking spice on the nose. The palate is full-bodied, with deep oak, honeyed spice and toasted brown sugar, and the finish is long and dry with warming heat and sweet smoke.
