Maker's Mark Wood Finishing Series 2025 The Keepers Release is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled in January 2025 at 55.85% (111.7 proof). It is the second of five releases in the series.
Cask strength Maker's Mark was finished with ten toasted virgin French oak staves. The stave profile was designed with bartenders, retailers and other whiskey professionals, as a tribute to the "Keepers of the Craft", and the whiskey then had its final ageing in the distillery's limestone cellar.
The nose is described as baking spices, dark caramel, toasted oak, dried fig and vanilla bean. The palate brings spiced chocolate, molasses and roasted pecans, and the finish is long, with cinnamon heat and a dry oak close.
