Maker's Mark The Stewards Release is the 2026 bottling in the Wood Finishing Series, a wheated Kentucky straight bourbon finished with 10 virgin toasted American oak staves. It is bottled at 113.3 proof, the higher of the two strengths released. The release honours the operations teams at Star Hill Farm in Loretto: quality, bottling, engineering, security, processing and shipping. The official notes give cherry pie and vanilla bean on the nose, honey, toasted marshmallow and candied ginger on the palate, and stone fruit and salted caramel on the finish.
