Malenes Rødvinsgløgg Blåbær og Julekrydderier (75cl, 10%)

This is an organic, ready-mixed red wine gløgg. It is 73% red wine, warmed with Christmas spices and juice from blueberries and cranberries. The blueberry adds a tang and balance for a harmonious, wine-led character, while the cranberry brings freshness once the gløgg is heated. It is best enjoyed at 65 to 68°C, heated straight away and not left to boil, which would change the flavour and heighten the sweetness. Blanched almonds are the suggested addition, as raisins sweeten it unnecessarily.
