Manly Spirits – Coastal Stone Xplore Double Grain Australian Single Malt Whisky (75cl, 40%)

Coastal Stone Xplore is an Australian double grain whisky from Manly Spirits on Sydney's Northern Beaches, bottled at 40% in a 75cl bottle. It blends double pot-distilled single malt with column-distilled wheat whisky, made grain to glass at the distillery. The whisky is filtered through Sydney sandstone and matured in ex-bourbon and ex-shiraz American oak casks. The bottle is sculpted to echo the eroded textures of the Sydney coastline. On the nose it is described as almond cake, pear and green apple with mince-pie spice. The palate is light and creamy, with vanilla, cinnamon, treacle, lemon zest and barley sugars, leading to a lingering malt finish.
