Marc Kreydenweiss Kritt Pinot Blanc 2023 Alsace

Kritt is an Alsace Pinot Blanc from Marc Kreydenweiss, made from hand-picked grapes. The vineyards are farmed biodynamically, on mineral-rich soils typical of the region. The wine is neither filtered nor fined, which keeps it close to the place it comes from. It goes well with shellfish, sushi and white meats. The colour is bright pale gold with golden glints. The nose is intense, with broom, acacia and jasmine leading to apricot and pear, with touches of white pepper and chalk. The palate is round and enveloping at first, then gives way to citrus freshness and pronounced savoury minerality.
