Marcel Trépout Apotheose is a 30 year old Armagnac from Gascony, bottled at 40% abv. It is a blend of several armagnacs drawn from the cellars at Maison Daroux, and the youngest of them has spent more than 30 years in oak.
The colour is amber-gold with a hint of mahogany. On the nose there are dried fruit, walnut, pipe tobacco, black pepper and baked apple.
The palate brings maple syrup, dark caramel, cocoa, coffee and toasted bacon, leading to a long, intense and rounded finish.
