Marcel Trépout XO is a 12 year old Armagnac from Gascony, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Marcel Trépout seeks out eau-de-vie from the region himself and ages it in French oak casks.
It is regarded as harmonious yet powerful, round and soft, with considerable aromatic complexity, and is known in France as the gourmet's Armagnac.
The aromas are of vanilla, cigar box, caramel, honey and brown sugar. It suits being enjoyed with a good cigar.
