Mars Kasei Blended Whisky (70cl, 40%)

Mars Kasei is a Japanese blended whisky, combining Japanese malt and grain whiskies at 40 per cent ABV. It is the second standard bottling from Mars, following Maltage Cosmo. The name is the Japanese word for Mars, and the red planet appears on the label of the relief-moulded bottle. It is described as soft and well balanced, with notes of white blossom, ripe fruit and a restrained smokiness. The balanced character also suits a highball, which is a common way of drinking whisky in Japan.
