Mars Komagatake 2020 is a lightly peated Japanese single malt without an age statement, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition of 10,000 bottles, bottled without chill-filtration. The whisky was matured for at least 3 years in ex-bourbon casks and American white oak casks. The nose begins with pear, apple and banana, then turns floral with mint and liquorice, ending on a light mineral peat. The palate is full of flowers, with a slight sharpness of lemon and eucalyptus. The finish is peaty, fruity and herbal.
