Mars Komagatake Tsunuki Aging 2019 was distilled at Shinshu, at the highest distillery in Japan, then moved to the warehouse at Tsunuki, the new Mars Whisky distillery, for ageing and bottling.
It is the third edition of the Tsunuki Aging series and is a vatting of bourbon and sherry casks.
The nose is rich and complex, with citrus and stewed fruit. The palate turns to lemon and vanilla, and the finish is long and soft.
