Mars – The Y.A. #2 Peated (70cl, 49%)

Mars The Y.A. #2 Peated is a Japanese blended malt bottled at 49% in a 70cl bottle. It follows The Y.A. #1, which brought together all three Mars sites in one whisky, and this edition does the same with a peated style. It combines smoky single malts from the Shinshu and Tsunuki distilleries, matured on the tropical island of Yakushima. The Y.A. stands for Yakushima Aging. It is described as recalling the island itself, with sun-ripened fruit, sea air and soft smoke.
