This Marsala comes from western Sicily, where the Mediterranean climate and calcareous soils give the wine its structure. It is made from traditional local grape varieties and aged for a long time in wooden casks.
The nose shows intense dried fruit, almond, a delicate floral note, honey and vanilla. On the palate it is balanced, with controlled sweetness that highlights freshness and persistence.
It can be enjoyed as a meditation wine or with aged cheeses, dry pastries and tarts.
