Marsala Superiore Riserva Secco 2000 (75cl)

A Marsala from the Marsala area, made from selected Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia grapes. It matures in wooden casks for at least five years, developing a refined balance of floral and fruity notes with the characteristic dry savouriness. The nose shows toasted almond, candied citrus and a pleasant spicy note. On the palate it is harmonious and dry, with a long finish and a delicate bitter sensation typical of Marsala Superiore Riserva. It suits flavourful fish dishes, risottos and aged cheeses.
