A Marsala DOC Vergine Riserva from Baglio Florio, made mainly from Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia. The grapes are fermented and aged for a minimum of five years in wooden casks. The result is a dry Marsala of great body and depth, opening with intense toasted almond, honey and a delicate hint of sweet spice. On the palate it is harmonious and persistent, balancing territorial savouriness with the complexity of long ageing. It suits meditation, dry desserts, aged cheeses and meat dishes.
