Martell Blue Swift Cognac (70cl, 40%)

Martell Blue Swift is a Cognac finished in bourbon casks, bringing the Cognac and American bourbon worlds together. After distillation it is aged in French oak, then finished in the bourbon casks, and the grapes are chiefly from areas such as Borderies. The nose shows ripe fruit, vanilla and light toasted wood. The palate opens with intense fruit sweetness, moving to woodier, more structured flavours and sweet spice, with caramel and toffee. The finish is long and soft. It is bottled at 40% ABV and works neat or in cocktails.
