Martell VS is a cognac from the house of Martell, founded in 1715. It is an assembly of distillates from the Grande and Petite Champagne crus, matured in French oak barrels. The cognac shows a light amber colour with golden and copper reflections. Its bouquet brings fresh fruit such as lemon and grape, followed by softer wood and vanilla notes. On the palate it is silky and well balanced, with sweet spice, caramel and almond. It can be enjoyed neat or used in cocktails such as a Sidecar.
