Martell VSOP Aged in Red Barrels is a cognac from the house founded in 1715 on the banks of the Charente. Its eaux-de-vie are aged for 4 years in red oak barrels from the United States.
The nose offers candied orange peel, quince, raisins and plum, with liquorice, hazelnut and peanut butter behind. The palate is complex and soft, with a round body and the alcohol well integrated. The finish is long, with fruity returns and sultanas to the fore.
