Martingale Cognac (70cl)

Martingale is a Cognac from the Thomas family, growers who spent more than a century selling to the large houses before launching their own brand. It is made by fourth-generation master blender Amaury Thomas. The blend uses brandies from all four core Cognac regions but leans heavily on the Borderies rather than the Grand Champagne, which puts the floral and fruity side of Cognac to the front. It has no additives, no boisé, and no added sugar or caramel. The notes are madeleine cake, almonds, acacia flowers, vanilla and sandalwood, with a fresh character running through them.
