Mary Dowling Toasted Double Oak is a barrel strength wheated bourbon made in Kentucky, in a 750ml bottle at 62.5% ABV (125 proof). The wheat in the mash bill gives it a soft, rich character.
It was aged in two distinct American oak barrels from Kelvin Cooperage.
The nose shows toasted vanilla, caramel and warm spice. On the palate come charred oak, brown sugar and baking spice, followed by a smooth finish for its strength. It can be taken neat or with a splash of water.
