Marzadro Amaro (70cl)

An amaro made by the Marzadro family. It is produced by infusing 20 botanicals in alcohol for 30 days, including juniper, mint, rhubarb, chamomile, genepi and gentian. The herb infusion is slightly lengthened with Trentino water and sugar. It appears a clear, bright ruby red. The bouquet mixes balsamic notes with dark spices, noble woods and undergrowth, with a bitter note reminiscent of china prevailing. The palate is soft but powerful, young and balanced between bitter and sweet spice. The finish is satisfying and persistent, and it is best sipped after a meal.
