A Barbera from Marziano Abbona in the Langhe, with a bright ruby colour. The nose shows fresh red fruits, cherry and small forest fruits, with spicy hints and a light floral touch. The tannins are restrained and the fresh acidity supports the palate, making it direct and easy to drink. It pairs well with cured meats, tomato-based pasta dishes, white meats and soft cheeses. Serve cool, around 16-18 C, and open shortly before serving for brief aeration.
