Mascota Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Mascota Bourbon is a five-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 50% in a 75cl hand-painted porcelain bulldog decanter. It is the first bourbon in the Mascota collection, and every Mascota bourbon release comes in a handcrafted bulldog decanter. This one is called "Big Mac", after the founder's family bulldog, and is also nicknamed "Puppy Van Winkle". It wears American Kennel Club bulldog colouring, has metal spikes on its collar and comes in a green-roof doghouse box. A portion of profits goes to animal shelters and rescue centres. The brand describes sweet vanilla and charred oak on the nose. The palate moves from caramel and vanilla to oak, cinnamon and blood orange, and the finish is long and sweet with oak spices, toffee and dark fruits.
